ALEXANDRA PACHTER: WAKE UP AND INSPIRE

Alexandra Pachter is a very passionate Yoga Therapist from South Florida. She uses themes from Kripalu Yoga such as witness consciousness and self-compassion, combined with body awareness/breath awareness techniques.

She came to the realization that she was at peace and in awe at the transformational affects of yoga, Ayur Veda (yoga’s sister science to health and living) and the art of witness consciousness: being present. Alexandra decided to seek further into the healing arts side of the yoga world, and in 2013 completed her 500 Hour Integrative Yoga Therapist training with Integrative Yoga Therapy at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. During this training, Alexandra’s thesis was Treating Addiction with Integrative Yoga Therapy methods vs. the allopathic medical model. Due to the requirement of Integrative Yoga Therapy to complete a specialty-training program, Alexandra then attended a 50-hour Functional Yoga Therapy course in Tucson, Arizona with MariaAlive Therapeutics. Here, she learned how to address and work with structural imbalances of the physical body using ancient yogic wisdom, Ayur Veda, and modern-day hands on therapeutics to create balance within the physical body, as well as, the rest of the levels of consciousness within the human body.

Alexandra works with both individuals one-on-one and in groups as a yoga teacher/therapist at various treatment centers in the south Florida area. She is very thankful to be a teacher of the yogic path and self-care, as well as, an eternal student of herself and yoga.
